Welcome to Steve's Cloud. I have been working in Information Technology for over 25 years, but my passion for computers began back in 1983 when I started programming on a Commodore 64. In the 1990's I expanded my skills with two Associates degrees, one in electronics technology and one in computer technology. I started working with computers as a profession after getting my A+ certification in 1997.
Back then I was working on 10Mb switches and 16 bit Windows for workgroups v3.11 running on MS-DOS 6.22. I started doing Engineer level work in Networking and Servers after obtaining my CNE and MSCE certifications in 2000, while also exploring Linux using Slackware version 2. I started working on Linux in production environments in 2001 with RedHat 7.2 public, and then with RedHat Enterprise Linux. I obtained his Bachelor's degree from Temple University in 2004, and I have consistently grown my skills through hands on experience and continuing education since.
